Dina – a lovely little chick

Hello dear Mrs. Schären

Franziska Schären Foundation

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous and heartfelt support.

In February 2025, we were able to take in Dina, a lovely little bunny, from the Katzenhilfe Bern association. Dina is female, born in spring 2023 (the exact date is not known), tabby, a house cat – and she snuck into our hearts from day one.

Shortly after her move, her health suddenly deteriorated massively. The vets suspected that the severe stress could have triggered an FIP infection. Dina had to be admitted to the animal hospital in Bern as an emergency – an absolute shock and an exceptional emotional situation for us.
In this moment of worry, it was nevertheless clear to us that we didn’t want to give up on Dina. She had already been through so much and we were determined to give her a chance to recover.

“Thanks to your generous financial support, Dina was initially able to receive medical treatment at the animal hospital. She was then included in the FIP study of the FIP Project Bern. Your help not only relieved us enormously financially, but also gave us confidence and hope. We are very grateful to you for this.”

Today Dina is doing very well. She is lively, curious, cuddly and enjoys her life to the full. We very much hope that her participation in the study will give other affected cats access to effective therapy.

On behalf of Dina and our whole family:
A huge, heartfelt thank you!
